We are looking for Process Engineer to join a progressive organisation dedicated to transforming fuel sustainability. The company aims to make synthetic fuels more accessible than fossil fuels reducing the carbon impact of global fuelling. With rapid growth underway, they’re expanding their engineering and support teams. In this Process Engineer role, you’ll collaborate with the engineering teams overseeing system design, plant operation and plant safety. What you'll be doing: Hold responsibility for designing the overall system architecture and reviewing and iterating component selection and plant design. Performing process simulations and manage process control systems, including PID and SCADA. Oversee plant operations and ensure proper documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are in place. Conducting testing and analysis on the current plant to simplify its design. Manage and oversee plant safety, perform risk assessments, and carry out Safety Integrity Level (SIL) analysis. Monitor plant operations to ensure efficiency and safety. What experience you will need to apply: Significant experience of Process Engineering in an industrial setting. Bachelor’s or Masters (or PhD) in Chemical Engineering or related field. CAD and control system experience. Experience of deconvoluting complex scenarios to translate them into actionable steps. Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
